March Favourites

April is here already so its time for me to look back on March and pick out a few things that stood out for me this month. March, like every other month has flown by again. It hasn't been all doom and gloom this month as everyone, I feel, has banished their January blues and I think the arrival of Spring has perked up everyone's moods.

It has started getting brighter in the mornings so it less of a struggle to get out of bed and it stays lighter at night so means you don't just want go home and snuggle on the sofa, I want to go for walks in the park, after work drinks and start eating my dinner in the garden.

Earlier on this month I attended my first Trib3 class, if you haven't heard about this already it's an intense workout session and you can get you first session free by downloading the app. I do go to the gym regularly, usually 2 or 3 times a week but I hadn't ever done anything like this before. It was really full-on but in a good way, I was sweating bucket loads but I still had a smile on my face. The workout sessions have three parts and they rotate on a circuit, starting with the treadmill, weights and then mat work.

Trib3 doesn't feel or look like any other gym with more of a nightclub or bar feel about it. It has everything you need so you could just show up in your gym gear and get on with it. They have towels that you can hire, smoothies that you can order for after your session and toiletries that you can use.

As spring is here I have been enjoying, like I do every year, going to local farms and seeing the newborn lambs. I went to see the lambs last week at Whirlow Hall Farm and the week before at Graves Park but as Easter was early this year, my timing was slightly out and I didn't get to see any new born lambs, so I do need to pop back and see them soon.

Last week my little sister, came to visit and I have been needing any excuse to go and visit Paradise Island, Mini Golf. We went to check it out last Friday and I had never played before but I quickly realised that I would never be a Tiger Woods at golf. I really enjoyed it though, I think it would be great to go in a small group or with your kids. It took around half an hour to complete the course, I think this can vary on how good you are and if you go in a smaller group it can take a bit longer. I must admit this isn't usually my go to thing when I am looking for something to do but I will be looking to go back on a date night or a meet up with some friends.
