Bloggers Fun Day

I was invited by Billie to the #bloggersfunday event. Having previously met Billie at an event in Nottingham last year I was excited to meet up again and meet up with some fellow bloggers. I had been looking forward to this for a while as there hasn't been many events in Sheffield so far this year and with moving house my blogging has been put on the back burner, so I thought this would give me the inspiration to pick up blogging again.

The event was held at the Handmade Burger Co in Valley Centertainment. I must admit I have heard about it before but I haven't actually been, so I was excited to try and see what all the fuss was about. When I arrived I was greeted by Billie, a few bloggers and the burger menu. I suck big time at making decisions when there is so much choice on the menu and with a menu sounding this great, I struggled.

Lush popped along and talked about massage bars, which I love. Lush have been to a few bloggers events I have attended and they have all been about bath bombs, so I loved that this was on a different product. I have a few massage bars already; Hottie and Peace, but I don't really know much about them or if I am using them properly. When I usually use the bar, I am left feeling a bit sticky until it dries and this has put me off using this product in the morning as I don't have time to let it dry, but the Lush girls recommended using a Silky Underwear powder and this then sucks up the moisture and you are ready to go. I was very happy to discover this as I feel now I know this works I will be using the product much more as I won't have to worry about drying off.

After the demonstration from Lush our food was brought out. There were plenty of yummy sides accompanying the burger I chose. The burger was an American Cheese burger, which came with onion rings, gherkins and mustard. The waiters and waitresses really did look after us, they brought out sides to fill me up for the rest of the weekend.

The event I felt had a really relaxed feel where we all able to chat to everyone, I sometimes feel like I do prefer smaller events as there is a much better atmosphere where you really can get to know everyone who attends. Billie did a great job at hosting the event and making sure everyone was included and happy throughout.

  1. Sounds like you had an awesome time! I saw a few tweets about this! The body massagers sound really good too. Any excuse for a good pamper!
