#SheffieldBloggerMeetUp

This week I headed to Siobhan's Sheffield blogger event, this has been arranged for a good few months so I was super excited to meet Siobhan and some fellow Sheffield bloggers. There hasn't been a Sheffield bloggers event in a few months so I do always jump at the chance for a Sheffield event.

The event was really casual and we started with a spot of shopping, which I haven't really done at a bloggers event before but it did work. The events I have been to previously usually followed with a spot of shopping and by that point i am usually too loaded up with bags to go around the shops. This was a perfect opportunity for me to grab a few bits as i was bag and arms free. After the shopping we headed to Las Iguanas, I hadn't been before I was excited to see the menu and the food. I do usually try to have a look at the menu before as i am a rubbish chooser, far too indecisive. Fajitas immediately stood out on the menu for me, I haven't had fajitas in a while as when I am cooking for one they tend to last for 2-3 nights of the same tea, which can become boring.

After Las Iguanas being and being full up on the yummy food, we headed outside and did the raffle. I loved this because it was a really casual and I felt like we all managed to speak to everyone and have a good laugh. Siobhan sat in the middle of the table and called out the numbers, the raffle was fair so everyone was guarnteed a prize, which was perfect for me as i have the worst look at raffles. I did manage to win Cocoa Juvenate - The Indulgence Collection Here.

After the raffle we headed to Lush, I have been to a few bloggers event in Lush before and they really do look after bloggers. We were luckily enough to grab a few samples which we could choose from the skincare. As I have been fairly lucky with samples previously and I have tried the majority of the cleansers and moisturisers, I fancied trying something for my hair which I am still trying to tame after double bleaching it back in April. I described exactly what I was looking for and I was recommended Retread and H'suan Wen Hua, which I will be testing out and writing a post on soon.

Then we were shown all about the massage bars and how to use them. I have previously brought a massage bar but i never got around to using it. We were shown how to give people and ourselves a hand massage, it was so relaxing i could feel the weightlessness of my arm after. I did buy the Hottie massage bar, which i am going to be testing out on myself and some (un)willing victims.

I loved the day, it was nice and chilled which i love meet ups to be. I was able to have a good chat with everyone, which i think is the best with smaller events as with large ones I may not even realise some bloggers are there until after the event. This has now made me excited for my own bloggers event which I have co-helped organise for later on this month #northenbloggermeetup.
