#Nail Art Weekly Project

This is something i have been wanting to do for a while, i only really started paying attention to my nails this summer. I feel now university is over i have more free time on my hands, so i have more time to spend on my nails. I have also stopped working in retail where i broke the majority of my nails, so they have chance now to grow and for me to spend time painting them.

I love nail varnish, my nail varnish collection has grown so much since i have started blogging. I had to buy a new basket to keep all of my varnishes together but now that is over flowing. I love wearing pastels in the summer and dark reds in the winter. I think good nails can make you feel great and i think show that you have made a real effort with your appearance.

I must admit, i do love nail art but I'm not really that good at it. I tend to stick with one all over colour or something simple really. I have already looked at few other posts and i must admit mine does seem pretty basic but i think that sums up my nail art style really. I am hoping to be more creative as the weeks go on, so i think it can be a learning curve for me.

This weeks theme was being inspired by an item of clothing. For this i looked through my clothes and i was stuck for ideas. Then i thought i would do a little bit of online shopping and i stubbled over a few things. I decided to go for the two-tone yellow and grey.  I love these two colours together i think they work really well together, i think they are really good for this time of year. As the grey matches the weather at the moment and the yellow matches the sunshine that it on it way in a few months.

Wet Cement: Sally Hansen, Poundworld £1. Buttercup Shine: George £1.99
